A Hog Island employee-driven FUNdraising day for our local communities. 10% of your dining dollars from the day will go directly to local organizations chosen by our employees. So mark your calendars and get ready to Give A Shuck For Our Community.
This year, our employees chose the following organizations to donate to:
- Marshall – CLAM (Community Land Trust of West Marin) Our mission is to provide stable and permanently affordable homes in an environmentally responsible way in the communities surrounding Tomales Bay.
- Tony’s Seafood – Homeward Bound of Marin Homeward Bound is Marin County’s chief provider of shelter, housing and support services for homeless families and individuals.
- San Francisco Oyster Bar – Old Skool Cafe, Youth Run Supper Club. Old Skool Cafe is a youth-run, jazz-themed supper club to serve youth as an intensive real-world vocational training ground, employment incubator, supportive cohort, income generator, and connection point with a larger community that champions their success.
- NAPA Oyster Bar – Napa County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. Our mission is to serve our community by providing for a safe and healthy environment for our citizens and their animals while promoting animal welfare and education about responsible pet ownership.
