Hog Island Bloody Mary

This recipe is a classic at the Oyster Bar in San Francisco and pairs perfectly with a Hog Island Sweetwater.

  • 6 oz vodka
  • 12 oz tomato juice
  • 1 oz seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 oz unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 oz Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz extra hot horseradish
  • 16 dashes Tapatio or Crystal hot sauce
  • 8 dashes of celery bitters
  • 4 pinches salt
  • 20 cracks of pepper

Recipe Preparation

Add all ingredients to a serving pitcher and whisk to combine. Fill glass with ice and pour bloody mary mixture (aka Hogs Blood) equally into 4 glasses. Garnish with pickled vegetables or Castelvetrano olives and top drink with 1 large bar-spoon of Hogwash.
