Local Pick-Up Policy

  • Orders must be picked up on the requested date.
  • If your order is not picked up on the requested date, it will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.
  • If you are unable to pick up your order on your requested date, please call or email us no later than 12:00 PM on your requested date to pick up your order the next day to avoid a restocking fee.

Local Pick-Up Refund Policy

All refund requests must be submitted to mailorder@hogislandoysters.com within 48 hours of receipt to be considered.

The following reasons are covered under our refund policy:

  • Incorrect, missing items, or damaged items at the time of pickup
  • Abandoned orders will be eligible for a 50% refund

Resolutions to reported issues may include replacement of the product in question, a digital gift card to put toward a future order, or a partial/full refund.

The following reasons are not covered under our refund policy:

  • Incorrect items ordered.
  • Incorrect pickup date selected.
  • Inability to retrieve your order on the requested date, resulting in spoiled shellfish or damage to product.

We will not assume any responsibility for any seafood that becomes unusable because of failure to follow instructions (in the package or on our website) by the recipient.

All refund requests must be sent to mailorder@hogislandoysters.com within 48 hours of receipt of product for consideration. We will then notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Refund requests submitted past 48 hours will not be approved.
