Hog Island Bloody Mary

Serves 4

Ingredients (Hogs Blood a.k.a Bloody Mary Mix)

6 oz vodka
12 oz tomato juice
1 oz seasoned rice vinegar
1 oz unseasoned rice vinegar
1 oz Worcestershire sauce
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz extra hot horseradish
16 dashes Tapatio or Crystal hot sauce
8 dashes celery bitters
4 pinches salt
20 cracks pepper

Garnish with Hogwash and pickled veggies or olives

Ingredients (Hog Wash Garnish)

1 large shallot, peeled, minced
1 large jalapeño pepper, seeded, minced
1/2 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
Juice of 1 lime
Black pepper to taste

Method (Assembly)

Add all ingredients to a serving pitcher and whisk to combine. Fill glass with ice and pour bloody mary mixture equally into 4 glasses. Garnish with pickled vegetables or Castelvetrano olives and top drink with 1 large bar-spoon of Hog Wash.
